Registration for the 2025 Reno-Reneau Reunion

Welcome to the on-line registration for the 2025 Reno-Reneau Family Reunion to be held in Johnson City, Tennessee of October 3-4, 2025.
In an effort to make things easier for the attendees, we suggest that you make your reservation on-line. Not only easier for you, but the Reunion Committee gets your information much quicker. Having your information earlier allows us to plan for the volume of attendees.
We look forward to seeing you and your family members. Also, please help us by letting your family members, both young and more seasoned, know about the reunion. Please read the “Instructions” below before starting the process.

Shirt and Framed Logo Information
The Polo is available for only $30.00 each in cool gray with an embroidered graphic in the the following sizes:

Framed Logo
This year we will be offering, for only $18.00 an attractive embroidered Logo with the Huguenot Cross of a purple background outlined with Reno Reneau Reynaud in a 6 in x 6 in frame with a 4 in x 4 in mat. The year 1688, when our ancestors arrived in Virginia, in gold is above the cross.
Tee Shirts are available for $16.00 each in red, blue and gray with the following sizes:

Instructions (Please read before you start the registration)
If you prefer to complete your registration manually and mail along with your payment, please download a registration form by clicking Here. However, after downloading the registration form, please come back to this page to make your hotel reservation.
Smart Phones and tablets may not work, so please use your computer to complete your registration.
- After you enter your email address, click on “Send Verification Number To Email” button. You will receive an email with a verification code. Just enter the code in the field “Enter Verification Number” and click on “Verify Number” button. If correct page will refreshen and display a check mark. We do this to make sure the email address is correct and to minimize entries by hackers and those that do not mean well.
- If you are modifying your original registration to add another attendee or adding an order for Shirts or other merchandize, Please check “yes” after you verify your email address.
- Complete all the fields for attendees and DNA questions. Those fields that are marked “(required)” must be filled in.
- Complete the section on shirts. You may select the choices and the little circle will turn black. We will offer only one color for the polo shirt.
- The summary section select the number of attendees in the “pull down” field. This will give the fees for all attendees on this registration.
- Do the same for the merchandise section.
- In the “Total” section add the fees for attendees and the merchandise. The field will requires three digits and no numbers before the decimal. If your total is less than $100.00, i.e. $25.00, please enter “025.00″
- You have several options to pay the total fees due. They are:
- Pay with PayPal at the time you submit the registration.
- Pay with PayPal before August 15, 2025.
- Pay before August 15, 2025 by check to our Treasurer, Suzanne Reneau Larson.

If this seems more difficult, we recommend you just drop a check in the mail.
- After you verify that all required information is complete and everything is correct, click on the “SUBMIT” button. If everything is correct, you will see a rotating icon and then you will get the message “Thanks for registering on-line! Your registration has been send to the Reunion Committee.

If you have attended a previous reunion or are a member of the Reno Reneau DNA Project, you do not need to complete this form. We already have this information. McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee may be a option for those that want to see more of Tennessee or want to do genealogy research in the area. The airport is about 1 hour 45 minutes (118 miles) from Johnson City, Tennessee. American Airlines, Aliegiant, United and Delta provide convenient flight to more cities. We have made special arrangements with the Holiday Inn, 101 W. Springbrook Drive Johnson City, Tennessee 37604. There is a limited block of rooms reserved at a special rate of $140.00 per night plus taxes. This limited rate will include 2 breakfast vouchers each day in the Reflections Restaurant.
Please Read The Following Instructions Before Attempting to Make Hotel Reservation
Some of our family members may want to come earlier and stay longer in the area at the reduced hotel rates. When the website is displayed on the top bar you will see “6 Nights / 9-30-2025 -> 10-6-2025”. Just click “9-30-2025” of the bar then select the day you will arrive, i.e., October 3 and the day you will be leaving, i.e., October 5. The next step, select “Search”, then select the room type. When you select the room type, the page will reload for you to enter your personal information. Verify that that it is actually showing the days you want to stay. If not please go back to the previous page and try again.
To make your hotel reservation, please go to the Holiday Inn website by clicking Make Reservation at Holiday Inn.

Individual guest room reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to arrival with no penalty. Individual reservations cancelled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged one night room plus tax.
Campgrounds for the RV'ers
There are a number of campgrounds available in the area. Although the reunion will be held in Johnson City, the historical importance for the family is Elizabethton, Sycamore Shoals and Sinking Creek Baptist Church.
The nearest campground is Camp Stonefly. The campground is on the Watauga River just a stones throw from Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park. This is where Fort Watauga is located. You might also want to consider Ridgeview Campgrounds about 5 minutes from downtown Elizabethton. However, there are many campgrounds in the area that may be more your style.
